An optical illusion sculpture fly-through showcasing
the ethos, craftsmenship & history of the Glenrothes distillery.

The Glenrothes is a hands-on, no frills distillery. From the people in the tun room and the stillhouse, to the warehouse workers and the sample room where our Master Whisky Maker noses the freshly drawn spirit. We were commissioned by Edrington to create a short film to tell the deeper story behind every bottle of The Glenrothes. One of courage, craft and community spirit. A community of like-minded individuals, dedicated to making exceptional single malts.

What does reward mean to you?

No science fiction here. Every decision in the film was rooted in the reality of research, science and possibilities. All visual effects where treated from the ground up with realism in mind. Conveying truth and fact in what this future could be, not just hopes and dreams.

Exploration is key when defining a look or feel. By giving ourselves the space to find out what works and what doesn't we're able to arrive at the best version of any given concept and bring that to life. Here's a few examples of the early work done on Look Beyond for Glenrothes.
