THE PROCESS
Tasked with compositing all interiors and exteriors of the ship I was also lucky enough to stretch my UV mapping and texture creating muscles in Rizon UV and Substance Painter / Designer for the already modelled asset. The final ship texture being a rather heafty 14 UDIM Tile at 8K each but holding up at any angle and distance we needed for the final piece. Along with texturing and look dev of the ship I created the necessary lighting arc sims in Houdini for added effect as the ships sails deployed.
